On October 29, 2016 there was a Ceremony to enshrine the Lord Buddha Image at the Chapel in the Dhammakaya Meditation Center, New Castle, the United Kingdom. In the morning, the alms offering ceremony took place.
The Venerable Monk Phrakupalud Pawanawat, the Abbot of the Dhammakaya Meditation Center, Korsør Lystskov, Denmark was the presiding monk. 124 locals, and 123 Thais attended the event. It was an utmost joyful day, a day that truly marked history as there were more locals attending the event than Thais.
