Information
This is another important time in your life to accumulate the special merit which hardly happens. Over 10,000 monks from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and 14 Southern provinces in Thailand are going to be the merit field for you to offer the morning alms.The center of Hat Yai City is the first place where the morning alms offering to thousands monks has organized since 2001. The Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh (Luang Phaw Dhammajayo) chose this place to be the sample in the Manual of the Morning Alms Offering to 1,000 – 10,000 Monks. This manual was published and given to the Most Ven.’s disciples in the Morning Alms Offering to 500,000 Monks in Total From Every Temple in 76 Provinces Project launched by the Most Ven. In 2008. For this year over 500,000 monks are the merit fields for millions people from all over the country to offer the morning alms.
Rice and dried food from this ceremony will transfer to relieve the monks in 226 Southern temples, soldiers, teachers and students in four unrest Southern provinces continuously for entire year. These good things have kept the Buddhist Customs strengthen and sustained Buddhism for thousands years.
The person who offers the morning alms will get the effects as follow.
1. He will reborn during the Buddhist time every lifetime.
2. He will have a lot of properties.
3. His properties will not be ruin by any disaster.
4. Most people will love him.
5. He will have many good friends.
6. He will be well–known from his good deeds.
7. He will have self–confident in public.
8. When he passes away, he will go to the fortunate realm.
9. He will attain Nirvana easily.
