Yes! If we notice, we will often see proverbs in books, articles, movies and many speeches.
ถ้าเราสังเกตเราจะเจอสุภาษิตหรือสำนวนต่างๆ ที่เป็น ภาษาอังกฤษในหนังสือบทความ ภาพยนตร์ หรือการพูดในโอกาสต่างๆ
A proverb is a short sentence or a phrase that contains wisdom, truth, morals, and traditional views. It usually presents itself in a metaphorical and memorable form.
Proverb หรือ สุภาษิต คือ ประโยคหรือวลีสั้น ที่แฝงไปด้วยความรู้ ความเป็นจริง คุณธรรม และมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม ส่วนใหญ่แล้ว proverbs จะอยู่ในรูปของการเปรียบเปรยหรือที่เรารู้จักว่าการอุปมาอุปไมยและยังอยู่ในรูปที่จดจำได้ง่ายอีกด้วย
wisdom แปลว่า สติปัญญา
Metaphorical แปลว่า เกี่ยวกับการใช้คำอุปมา

"It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness."
หนทางไปสู่ความยิ่งใหญ่ ย่อมต้องฟันฝ่าอุปสรรค
rough roads แปลว่า ถนนที่ขรุขระ
Here, 'The rough roads' refers to obstacles in our journey to our success.
"The Used key is always bright."
This literally means practice makes perfect.
การฝึกฝนอยู่เสมอทำให้เกิดความชำนาญ
'The used keys' refers to the repeated actions of people again and again on a task and that leads to the expertise in that task.
แปลตรงตัวในที่นี้ว่ากุญแจที่ถูกใช้แล้วถูกนำมาเปรียบกับการที่คนเราฝึกฝน และทำบางสิ่งบางอย่างบ่อยๆ จนนำไปสู้ความชำนาญในสิ่งนั้น

This means we should not let laziness obstruct the completion of the task.

Obstruct แปลว่า ขัดขวาง หรือ เป็นอุปสรรค
Task แปลว่า งาน

ครึ่งหนึ่งของก้อนขนมปังยังดีกว่าไม่มีเลย
This means getting a little of something is still better than getting nothing at all.

The meaning of this proverb is that we should never judge anything or anyone from its physical appearance only.

It means if we want to know the quality of something you have to try it or experience it.

Proof แปลว่า ข้อพิสูจน์
"Where there's a will there's a way."
ที่ไหนมีความมุ่งมั่น ที่นั้นมีหนทาง
It means that if we have the determination (the will) to do something, we can always find the path or method to do it.
ถ้าเรามีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะทำอะไรสักอย่างแล้วเราย่อมสามารถหาทางในการไปสู่จุดมุ่งหมายนั้นได้อย่างแน่นอน
Determination แปลว่า ความมุ่งมั่น
"As a man sows, so shall he reap."
This implies that whatever we do , we always get the result of what we have done.
ใครทำอย่างไร ก็จะได้รับผลตอบแทนเช่นนั้น
Sow แปลว่า หว่านเมล็ดพืช
Reap แปลว่า เก็บเกี่ยว
