Significance of Vesak

 ( Visakha Puja)

One fo the major Buddhist festivals is Vesak, which takes its name from the month in which the Buddha was Born, Attained Enlightenment and passing into parinibbana, Vesak is celebrated to commenorate and observes the teaching of the Lord Buddha:
