The Foreign Affairs Department, Dhammakaya Temple, has arranged the International Dhammadayada Program since 2003. There were over 400 trainees from over 35 countries around the world. There are more interested people to be ordained in this program from each country. Some of them have not disrobed because they want to study Dhamma more and more. This causes the congregations happy when they see more foreigners studying Buddhism.

Now there are over 30 International Dhammadayada monks studying Dhamma in Dhammakaya Temple from 20 countries (Cambodia, China, Congo, Taiwan, Nepal, Belgium, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Burma, Lao, Japan, Germany, Sri Lanka, USA, Switzerland, Britain, Australia, Italy and India).

To support the President’s policy that he would like to open a chance for foreigners to be ordained as Dhammadayada to study Dhamma, learn how to meditate and live happily in the right way according to the Buddhist method, so the International Dhammadayada Training Division, the Foreign Affairs Department, has arranged the International Dhammadayada Ordination Program almost every month to create the qualified monks to disseminate Dhamma in many countries around the world which is responsible to the policy of disseminating Buddhism to the world.

The qualified monks can choose to disrobe or not after the training is over. If they do not disrobe and decide to stay longer, they will learn Thai language, Thai cultures, take the basic educational courses, practice chanting, and study Dhamma and the Buddhist Disciples as well as the intensive self-development through the real monk lessons of the temple. Finally, they will become the quality religious people, the models of good people and the light for the world.

Qualification
1.    Real men (not allow for homosexual ones), 20-55 years old
2.    Can communicate in English
3.    Be healthy and not sick of the dangerous diseases such as the infective diseases, AIDS, etc.
4.    Have no conditions in living or eating. Not a vegetarian.
5.    Have no backlog during the program and can be trained thoroughly
