ประโยคภาษาอังกฤษในการเชื้อเชิญ

Before we invite someone, we might ask them if they are availabe by using this question "Are you free next Saturday?" or "Are you available next Saturday?".

ก่อนที่เราจะกล่าวเชิญใคร เราอาจจะถามเขาให้แน่ใจก่อนว่าเขาว่างหรือไม่ ด้วยประโยคว่า Are you fee...? หรือ Are you available...? จากนั้นระบุวัน-เวลา ลงไป เช่น "Are you free next Saturday?" แปลว่า วันเสาร์หน้าคุณว่างไหม?

When we know that they are available, we can invite them by saying "I'd like to invite you to..." for example, "I'd like to invite you to my birthday party."

เมื่อคุณทราบว่าคนที่คุณต้องการชวนว่างในวันที่คุณต้องการเชิญ เราจึงชวนเขาด้วยประโยคว่า "I'd like to invite you to my birthday party." แปลว่า ฉันอยากชวนคุณไปงานเลี้ยงวันเกิดของฉัน

คำว่า "I would like..." ถ้าเป็นรูปย่อจะออกเสียงว่า "I'd like..."

or you can say "Would you like to...?" For example; Would you like to come over for a dinner on Saturday.?

To accept, we can say "Thank you. I'd love to."
"Thanks! That sounds fun." or "Thanks a lot. That sounds great!" or "With pleasure."

To decline the invitation we should first say "Sorry" or "Thanks", and then explain the reasons, for example; "I'm sorry but I'm so busy."

"I'm sorry I can't. I have something to do."
"Thanks a lot, but I have already plans for this evening."
I wish I could, but I already have plans.
That's very kind of you but I'm not free that day.

ในการปฎิเสธคำความเชิญนั้นมีอยู่สองส่วน ส่วนแรกนั้นเราต้องแสดงความเสียใจหรือขอบคุณ ส่วนที่สองจะกล่าวถึงเหตุผล

I'm sorry but I'm so busy. แปลว่า ฉันเสียใจ ฉันไม่ว่าง
