My Mother’s Photo

My mother was my father’s legal wife but my father loved his concubine and his concubine’s children more than my mother and me. This caused my mother living sadly for all her life. She always told me that I must not have any concubine and I have promised to her. Finally, she passed away silently.

There is a strange thing about my mother’s big photo which I have put in a frame to remind to her. My mother took this photo since she was young, so this photo was around 80 years and overall black and white. It has changed in the recent years and makes the members of my family have a question.
Most of the background flowers have changed from black and white to be pink and yellow. The curtains have turned to be light blue. The ornaments on my mother e.g. necklace, bracelets, rings etc. have become to be golden. But my mother’s skin in the photo has not changed. No one has done anything with this photo. If the color of this photo degraded, the photo could messy. But it was not painted by anyone, it seems that the color would communicate something with us and we have questioned that what happens to my mother or she would like to tell anything. What has caused this photo changed?

Answers:

Your mother’s photo was overall black and white. Later, some background areas have changed in color because of the chemical reaction. The chemical solution which the photographer used just has the reaction recently. The color of this photo has not changed because any spirit did.
