I was saved from the accident because of Luang Pu

My name is Tanawut Panpradit. I am 24 years old. I’m a fourth year student at Siripatum University. I used to be a very fast driver, but I also like to listen to Dhamma. This is because my father has taken me to the Wat Phra Dhammakaya ever since I was a small child. However, when I had reached my teenage years, my thirst of adventure grew, and my tendency to drive fast on the road increased. Even though I know the fact that driving fast is bad, I still can not resist myself, like what the old proverb says, “Know what is good and what is bad, but cannot resist oneself.” It also can be explains according to the Law of Karma that my sins from killing animals in my previous lives used to cause me to like speeding on the road. For this reason, in all this life, I have been in 5 car accidents because of my need for speed. Thus, I became an expert on car accidents. However, I was lucky that most of my previous car accidents weren’t so severe, so I was not hurt, and not yet afraid.

For example, there was one time I was driving my personal car to meet a friend at Kasetsart University. I was driving on Kamwongwarn road with a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. During that time, the rain was pouring hard. My car had speeded off the curve, which caused it to fell into the Kasetsart University’s foul pond. However, I was not hurt. Moreover, the worst feeling of having embarrassed myself infront of many female students in Kasetsart University occurred to me. Luang Por, please imagine how embarrassed I was when a very handsome and cool car speeder such as myself had to climb out of the foul pond wet infront of the girls. I was so embarrassed that I want to bring a box along to cover my head with it. But from my previous speeding experience, there was this one time when I almost have to sacrifice my life with it without Luang Pu’s help. On New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2010), I was driving at night to pick up my friend and to go buy car’s repair materials together. On that day, my mother was worried because she was suspicious that I would have a car accident again. Therefore, she began praying to ask Luang Pu to help protected me when I was driving.
At that time, I was afraid that I would not make it on time for the appointment. Therefore, I became hot-tempered to be there on time. I began driving on Kamwongwan road at the speed of 150 kilometers per hour. Furthermore, I was also very sleepy when I was driving. Suddenly, I had speeded off the curve, so I tried to turn the car around, but was unsuccessful. Suddenly, the car was whizzing around in circles. At that time, I was very scared and I don’t know what to do. In that life or death moment, I thought of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen. This is because on my neck, I have been wearing an amulet of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen’s Fighting Maras version. I silently yelled inside my mind, “Luang Pu, help me please!”

Suddenly, there was a strong kind of force that pushed me outside from the car. After I was thrown outwards from the car, I fell very hard on the footpath and fainted. However, my car was in a worst condition than me, as it had spun around and hit the tree very hard until the front of the car was crushed. Moreover, the engine part and the vehicle part were broken into two. There were the smell of smoke and fire all over the broken vehicle. I have been able to regain my consciousness again when I heard a voice calling me in one of my ears. It was the voice of a staff from Ruam Katanyu foundation that helped sent me to Nakornpathom hospital. At that time, those that came to see the scene of the accident all thought to themselves, “No chance of survival in this car crash. Looking at the wrecked car, it was assumed that the person in this accident was already dead, and we must set up a funeral for him.” However, the results turned out to be unexpected. It turned out that I wasn’t hurt much, but just needed a few stitches on my head. This miracle happened to me because I was wearing an amulet of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen, which helped me to survive from the car accident.

From this car accident, everyone was extremely surprised that I was not badly hurt. All came to ask me, “What magic did you use?” Even I was surprised myself, because if it wasn’t for the force that pushed me out of the car, I would still be crushed by the broken vehicle part. What was even more surprising is how I was able to get out of the car even though the car doors from the both sides were still tightly closed. Due to this reason, I have been confident that my safety was the result of the miracle caused by wearing the amulet of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen.I have been feeling better and relieved when I thought that, “ Even though Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen has passed away, he is still helping all of his disciples.” This story teaches us that, “We must stop speeding, and start meditating.” If it wasn’t for the miracle of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen, I would probably be the first to pass away before everyone else. I would like to guarantee, “The miracles of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen really happens and are very strong.”
On this occasion, I would like to invite all disciples of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Bhasi Charoen to walk in a circle around the Dhammakaya Cetiya on October 10, 2011 and to make a Kathina merit in order to receive a small crystal-clear glass statue of Luang Pu. These small statues of Luang Pu are made up of glasses materials from the food offering ceremony to the Lord Buddha on the 1st Sunday of every month at Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Due to our accumulated merit, this causes Luang Pu to protect all his disciples’ safety and blesses all of his disciples to be rich and wealthy. For this year’s Kathina Dhammachai, my family wishes to donate 1 million baht to Wat Phra Dhammakaya in order to receive 1 crystal-clear glass statue of Luang Pu for family’s worshipping.
