“Dhamma March for the World Morality Restoration”
The Monks from the Dhammachai Dhutanga are walking along the way of the Monk who conquered Maras during January 2nd – 28th, 2014. They are travelling past 7 provinces which are Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Bangkok. The total distance is 459 kilometers and they will pass many important places such as:

The 3rd Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro), the Monk who Conquered Maras To Worship the Lord Buddha, keep the Buddhist Custom, Relieve People’s Dhammachai Dhutanga Project along the Way of the Most Ven. Mind and Make Big Merit to Thailand
Principle and Reasons
As a consequence of the cooperation of monks across Thailand, the Committee of Religion, Art, and Culture of the House of Representatives of Thailand, Buddhist organizations, public and private sectors, and over 40 associate organizations to arrange the 1st Dhammachi Dhutanga Project during January 2nd – 25th, 2012 and the 2nd Dhammachai Dhutanga Project during January 2nd– 27th, 2013. The Dhutanga monks walked past 7 provinces which were Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi and Bangkok. They did to worship the Lord Buddha and celebrate the 2600th Buddha Jayanti (the 2600th Enlightenment Anniversary of the Lord Buddha), to relieve Enlightenment Anniversary of the Lord Buddha), to relieve people’s mind and make big merit to Thailand. The feedback of these projects from all sectors is very good.
The project committee agreed to arrange this project again during January 2nd – 28th, 2014 and there are 1,129 monks around the country walking in this project. This is to open the chance for students and people to come together to welcome the Dhutanga monks and meditate to wake the moral trend, get rid of the danger and obstacles, support the fortune, restore their spirit and willpower including to cultivate the students and people to do the social activities to enhance their spirit and mind with morals, restore the Buddhist Custom to houses, temples and schools sustainably, teach them to be humble by the Dhamma disciple “Apacayana-maya” which will make Thai societies peaceful and sustainable by the Lord Buddha’s Dhamma Power.

Objectives
To worship the Lord Buddha, keep the Buddhist Custom, relieve people's mind and make big merit to Thailand
To develop the model youths who are moral and real Buddhists and expand it to be the moral model youth groups/networks to dedicate merit to the king, the queen and the Lord Buddha
To strengthen the morality to house-temple-school networks in all levels of societies around the country
To restore the Buddhist Custom to Thai societies as Thailand has been selected to be the Center of the World Buddhism
To wake the moral trend, to support spirit, mind and fortune to the people
To worship the Lord Buddha, keep the Buddhist Custom, relieve people's mind and make big merit to Thailand
To develop the model youths who are moral and real Buddhists and expand it to be the moral model youth groups/networks to dedicate merit to the king, the queen and the Lord Buddha
To strengthen the morality to house-temple-school networks in all levels of societies around the country
