Dhammachai Dhutanga of inviting the gold statue of Luang Pu
Please come together to pave the rose petals to welcome the Dhutanga monks in the ceremony of inviting the gold statue of the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro) during April 2nd – 6th, 2012.
This statue was cast in gold offered by Luang Pu’s disciples in 1994 because they loved and were grateful to Luang Pu.
Now this statue has been established in the Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro) Maha Vihara, Dhammakaya Temple, Pathum Thani province and is being transported to establish in Maha Ratchamongkol the Great Pagoda in Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple where Luang Pu spread Dhammakaya Vijja until he passed away.
Dhammachai Dhutanga Monks
The 1500 participating monks and novices in the invitation procession are going to walk past Paholyothin Road, Don Muang, Saphan Mai, Bang Khen, the Victory Monument, Pratunam, Ratchaprasong, Banthadthong, Yaowarat, Phra Pok Klao Bridge, Wongwian Yai, Talad Plu. Finally, the target destination is Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple where this gold statue of Luang Pu will be established. The total distance is 58 km and the total time is 5 days.
This dhutanga is so great because it is the procession of inviting the gold statue of Luang Pu to establish in Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple which is another way to wake the moral trend in our country.
