The fund from Dhammachai Kathina for Everything will be spent to build the monastic residence

The Kathina Merit is occasional which its fruit is so great. You can read them in the Pali Cannon like the story of Duggata, etc. In this year, the temple plans to spend the fund from the Kathina Ceremony to build the important things for spreading Dhammakaya Vijja of Buddhism to all over the world. The Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh (Luang Phaw Dhammajayo) kindly gives us a chance to get this big merit, so that he has established the Kathina Merit for Everything. The temple will spend its fund to build the Building of Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Chandasaro), the Monk who conquers Maras to be the monastic residence.

This building is very important for spreading Dhammakaya Vijja of Buddhism because there are more teaching monks and fresh monks from many mass ordination projects. If you recall the amount of the fresh monks in many years ago, you will see that the amount of fresh monks who were ordained during the Buddhist Lents was not much. Although many temples in Bangkok where they had had a lot of fresh monks before became having less. When the Most Ven. Luang Phaw Dhammajayo had heard like that, he knew exactly that the Buddhism is in dangerous. So in 2010, he launched the ordination programs which were the Mass Ordination Project, the Pioneer Batch at the beginning of the year and the 7,000-Monk Ordination Project in the midyear by having the monks from the Pioneer Batch become their coaching monks.

After that the temple arranged the 100,000-Monk Ordination Projects, both the Summer and Buddhist Lents Batches. Now, Dhammakaya Temple has developed a lot of true monks for our societies and the monks in these projects love their monkhood and have the determination to spread Buddhism, teach Dhamma to the congregations, do the monastic duties and become the coaching monks to develop the new true monks from generation to generation. Today, a great number of monks are doing these duties in every region of Thailand and are going to do these duties around the world in the future.

These monks are the Officers of Dhamma Armies wherever they are staying including those who are staying and working in the headquarters, Dhammakaya Temple. They often traveled to have a meeting at Dhammakaya Temple which we do not have enough residence to provide. So, the Kathina Ceremony in this year is a very big merit and is named as Dhammachai Kathina for Everything. We have a plan to spend it to build the Monastic Residence, the Laywoman Residence and the Parking Lot to provide the monks and disciples in the future.

It has been designed to be three 12-floor residential buildings which will be able to provide up to 6,000 monks to stay. The buildings have divided to be bedrooms, meeting rooms, chanting rooms, meditation rooms, multi-purpose rooms, guestrooms, etc.

The fruits of building the Building of Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Chandasaro), the Monk who conquers Maras and the Building of the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong, the Second to None.
1.    Those who provide the residence are considered as ones who provide everything, so the fruits of this merit will affect them to be rich of all kinds of properties easily.
2.    Whenever you are reborn, you will be free of the residential concerns. Your residence will be good and located in the Good Place 4, the four qualities of good places which will support you to pursue the perfections easily.
3.    You will be healthy both body and mind and will also be happy all the time because the buildings will be able to support a great number of monks, novices and laypeople.
4.    You will have the merit line linking with the Great Masters and will be able to attain their Dhamma, Nirvana and the Utmost Dhamma easily.
5.    You will be reborn in the noble family and get the high position. The human and celestial beings will appreciate and esteem you because the Great Masters’ Dhamma is great and high and the worshiping people who have the great Dhamma is one of the highest blessings.
6.    You will have good descendants and companies who are grateful and obey to you because of the fruits of offering with respect and gratefulness to the Great Masters.
7.    You will be wise and intelligent because you do it to worship the Great Masters who are the Wise.
8.    You will have the Right View and will be reborn in the Good Place 4 of the Buddhist land.
9.    If you pass away, you will be reborn in the heaven and will be rich of the celestial properties as well as good luck, rank, praise, happiness and power.
10.    When you are reborn as a human being again, you will have a lot of properties and will be rich easily because of your offering to the Buddhist monks who are the fertilized merit fields.
