In the event, the teaching monk led the laypeople to pray the Evening Chanting and meditate to purify their minds before requesting 8 precepts unanimously. They trained themselves intentionally for pureness and getting big merit on Buddhist Holy Day.

After that the monks prayed the Sutta named Dhamma–niyama Sutta to dedicate merit to their dead relatives. The laypeople offered the Picked-up Robe Set and alms to the monks before taking some group photos to recall these meritorious activities in the future.
