Principle and reasons

All 4 Buddhist communities leading by the monk communities across Thailand have summoned their powers to launch the 100,000–Monk Ordination during the Buddhist Lent Project.  The Most Ven. Somdej Phramaha Ratchamangkhlachan has kindly accepted to be the President of the consultants of this project.  The Most Venerable and over 35 Buddhist organizations and government offices have supported this project.  It is one of the World Morality Strengthen Projects initiated By the Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh (Dhammajayo Bhikku), the abbot of Dhammakaya temple, which has summoned the four Buddhist communities across the country to restore the three–month monkhood custom back to Thailand again.  This is to get more monks and solve the 5,937 abandoned temples across the country.
