Dhammakaya Paris Temple arranged many ceremonies in the First Weekend of October 2010

In the morning of Saturday October 2nd, 2010 the monks from Dhammakaya Paris Temple went to receive the morning alms at China Town in Paris.  Even though there was a drizzle raining in the morning and the weather was rather cool but the Chinese, Thai and Lao congregations living there still offered the morning alms with happy mind.

In the dark morning of Sunday October 3rd, 2010 Dhammakaya Paris Temple arranged the First Sunday Ceremony of Offering alms to the Lord Buddha as well as Dhammakaya Temple in Thailand via Dao Dhamma Dish.  After finishing this ceremony, Phramaha Kongkhen Chanrisi gave a sermon about the great kindness and power of the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Chandrasaro), Luang Pu who defeats maras.

In the late morning everyone meditated as well as the other congregations in the International Dhammakaya Meditation Hall, Dhammakaya Temple, Thailand.  Mr. Wichian Thilawan was the representative to light the special candles in this ceremony.  Then, they listened to the Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh’s sermon and performed the offering ceremonies – the medicine offering, the educational offering, the blanket offering and the Picked-up Robes ceremony for the hall expansion.  The congregations were very happy in merits and prepared themselves to attend in the coming Big Merit Day – The 126th anniversary of Luang Pu’s birthday – on October 10th, 2010.
