Phra Anilman Dhammasakiyo rejected that he had not had an interview about the Pali Cannon Project of Dhammakaya Temple

Phra Anilman Dhammasakiyo rejected that he had not unveiled in any press conference about the Pali Cannon Project. He also doubted that there is someone wanting to discredit Dhammakaya Temple by referring his name.
Due to Phra Anilman Dhammasakiyo’s comment about teaching and the Pali Cannon Project of Dhammakaya Temple, later the temple received his email explaining that he had never given any comment in the press conference at all.
Phra Anilman Dhammasakiyo wrote that “I was giving the lecture in the universities in America. When I had known the news from my disciple in Thailand, I was unhappy, feared and doubted what the journalists want by referring me as the commentator while I was in America and did not contact anyone for a long time. However, I remembered that I had analyzed and personally talked with my disciples that I appreciated Dhammakaya Temple doing the Pali Cannon Project seriously by hiring the Pali academics from over the world to work together.
This event happened long time ago and I also forgot when I had commented because it was the personal talking, not the sermon at all. But when I found it in the newspapers in a few days that I had commented this story and the press used the wrong academic position, I perplexed that what’s happened and how the press communicated and interpreted because I had never been interviewed by anyone.
Now I am asking people in Thailand that what’s happened and who wants to discredit Dhammakaya Temple by referring my name. Firstly, I would like to inform and made the understanding like the mentioned above, otherwise there will be the misunderstanding. Please inform the Most Ven. Phrabhavanaviriyakhun, the vice abbot of Dhammakaya Temple, about this that I has been slandered and I was not in Thailand during the days referred by the presses.
