Inner Peace for Japan
To help and relieve the victims of earthquakes and Tsunami in Japan
 
 
Inner Peace for Japan project will be held to dedicate merit to the dead people who were the victims of earthquakes and Tsunami disasters.  Please come to participate in the mourning ceremony and light the lanterns on Saturday April 23rd, 2011 at Dhammakaya Temple at 5.00 p.m.
 
The Objectives
1. to dedicate merit to the dead people from earthquake and Tsunami disasters in Japan
2. to keep the civilized tradition of “the merit dedication” which this merit will be benefit to the dead ones
3. to be the good model and activity for Thai and Japanese youths which lead them to be in harmony and make the relationship between Thailand and Japan to be stronger
4. to summon the harmony power of Thai and Japanese which will bring peacefulness to Thailand and Japan
5. the committee will bring the donation and alms to help and relieve the victims in Japan to encourage them to pass these crisis and restore their country to become as normal as before and as soon as possible
 
 
Schedule
The event day: Saturday April 23rd, 2011
4.30 p.m.        Thai and Japanese sit at their lantern area in the Kaew Sarapadnuk room
5.00 p.m.        Begin the Buddhist Ceremonies
5.50 p.m.        The president of the World Buddhist Sangha Youth Association delivers the report
5.55 p.m.        The ceremonial president – the president of the Subcommittee on Buddhist Affairs, the House of Parliament – delivers the opening speech
6.00 p.m.        The representatives from various organizations present their speeches.
6.20 p.m.        The mourning ceremony and lighting the lanterns
7.00 p.m.        The end
