Dhammakaya Temple was voted to be the runner–up popular voluntary organization in your heart from this flood crisis
During the recently flood crisis, all Luang Phaw Dhammajayo’s disciples had come together to protect Dhammakaya Temple and the surrounding areas such as Rapeepat Canal, Khlong Nueng, Khlong Song, Khlong Sam, Khlong Si, etc. Our temple also donated thousands of Big Bags for the officials and gave the relief packages, ready–to–eat food, drinking water, things to many villages and communities.
After the flood crisis in December 2011, Nation Rawangpai and OK Nation affiliated to the Nation Press launched the popular vote under the topic of “the voluntary organization in your heart from this flood crisis in Thailand” for Thai people to vote on internet.
On January 10th, 2012, the Nation Press announced the list of popular organizations as below.
No. 1 is Thai soldiers
No. 2 is Dhammakaya Temple
No. 3 is Ru Su flood
No. 4 is Ku Pai Sawang
No. 5 is Ruam Katanyu Foundation
