Namaste the Most Ven. Luang Phaw with the highest respect

I am Ven. Pao  Anubalo.  I am 20 years old.  I am the representative of the Dhammadayada monks from Poothamthong Temple in Ubon Ratchathani province.  I lived in Songkon city, Sawannakhet district, Lao.  But I can write and speak Thai fluently.  I just finished grade 12 and was planning to continue study but my mother asked me to be ordained for her.  In addition, a man who I respect was seeking real men to join in the 100,000-monk Mass Ordination in the Buddhist Lent Project.  When he knew my mother’s desire, he persuaded me to be ordained in this project.  In fact, I didn’t want to be ordained but I joined this project because of my mother’s request.  I thought that my mother did many things for me so I should do something for her.

Since I have joined in this project, I learn many things such as merit and sin which I never know before.  I am glad and happy when I know that human was born to make merit and pursue perfections.  I thought that in this ordination I must do every good thing fully.  So everything the teaching monks teach, I study it carefully and often practice.  For example about meditation, in the first two days I meditated and it was not good.  When I closed my eyes, I muddled and had muscle aches easily.  So the teaching monks taught me to pray “Samma Arahant” repeatedly and still my mind at the 7th base of mind and I tried.

In the third day of this project, I had closed my eyes gently and prayed “Samma Arahant” for 30 minutes; I felt that I thought nothing.  It was very quiet inside and I saw an ivory sphere.  It was as big as a lime.  It was floating in my abdomen.  I looked at it for a while, it became clearer enough to see through.  My mind was calm and suddenly the Buddha emerging from the sphere.  He was as big as the little finger tip and very clear.  Then, He expanded his body to be bigger and bigger.  He was bigger than a mountain in a moment.  In that time I seemed to be unable to know but I knew.  There were many Buddha emerging again and again.  Some were as big as my physical body and some were bigger than.

When I opened my eyes, I was comfortable and happy.  When I looked at the center of the body, I saw the little Buddha sitting inside the clear crystal ball.  I could see him obviously.  Even I do something, I feel that the Buddha stays at the center of my body.  I am impressed with him very much.  He makes me bright and happy.  The Buddha today still stays with me.  He is a clear Buddha and he is not big or small and is sitting at the center of my body.

Even though I am so happy that I can see the Buddha, I am happier when my parents come and tell me not to leave a monkhood.  Dear Luang Phaw, in the first time I wanted to be ordained for 7 days.  But I have been ordained for 3 months; I feel it is only 3 days.  How fast the valuable and happy time goes.  I think I will not leave the monkhood.  I will be the teaching monk in the Mass Laywoman Training Project and am your monk as long as I can.

I love to watch your program broadcasting on DMC.  I have never been bored at all.  In contradiction, I feel happy, funny and have more willpower to do good deeds.  Every time you persuade the Dhammadayada monk to be an abbot, I agree with you and would like to be as well.  I am ready to wade along with you but I don’t know how to begin.  I would like you to tell me how to do, please.  I thank Luang Phaw for this good project.  Finally, I wish Luang Phaw to be healthy and lead us to do good deeds forever.

Namaste Luang Phaw with the highest respect
Ven. Pao  Anubalo
