Email from Mr. Wai Pak On to Luang Phaw Khunkru Maiyai
The International Kathina Robe Offering President
Compiled from the Inner Dreams Kindergarten Program broadcasted on DMC

I am Mr. Wai Pak On, the Remain Kathina President and International V–Star child. I am 8 years old.

I pay the highest respect to Luang Phaw

How are you, Luang Phaw? I am Mr. Wai Pak On from Hong Kong, I report to Luang Phaw, sir.  I am 8 years old now and am studying grade 3 at Buddhist Chung Wah Kornhill Primary School in Hong Kong.  I am the Inner Dreams Kindergarten student since I was born.  I love to listen Luang Phaw’s teaching on DMC, so I can speak Thai and am the Thai interpreter for Mama Ivy as well.

I liked to sit on the soldier’s big bus
From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Dhammakaya Temple

Luang Phaw, I was glad to be the Kathina President in this year and it was the third time for me.  I would like to thank Luang Phaw that you gave me another chance.  For this year, I sent the school absence form for 3 days.  In the morning of November 3rd, 2011, I and Mama Ivy had flown to Thailand and saw that there were many flooding areas.

When we reached Thailand, I was happy that Luang Phaw’s disciples picked up me and I sat on a soldier’s bus to the temple.  On the way I saw a lot of cars parked on the side of express ways as well as many houses and fields were flooded.  I saw people, pigs, oxen and cows living on the roadsides.  How pity they were.

Two volunteers walked through the water to measure the height of flood.

I was impressed very much when two girl volunteers walked through the bad-smell water and measured the height of water.

I wanted the flood to be released to the sea as soon as possible for Thailand become bright again.  In the morning of Saturday November 5th, 2011, I went to offer Kathina Robes at Thaluangphol Temple in Ratchaburi province. I was happy that a lot of people did not care about the long distance traveling. They took on the big bus to offer the Kathina robes together since 5:00 am.  On that bus, we chanted and meditated together.  Many of them made merit with me as well so that it impressed me very much.  When we reached Thaluangphol Temple, I saw the public relation poster about my Kathina Robe Offering and many residents joined us.  There were a lot of food and donation boxes.  The V-Star children also joined us and all of them smiled to one another.  The ceremonial place was arranged well. These made me very happy.

I was very happy that V-Star children joined my Kathina Robe Ceremony.

The V-Star girls from Wat Thaluangphol School carried bowls of flowers.

Many congregations and residents joined the Remain Kathina Robe Ceremony happily at Thaluangphol Temple in Ratchburi province on Saturday November 5th, 2011.

In the afternoon, I felt that the Kathina Robes was so heavy, but I as well as the congregations walked around the beautiful Main Buddhist Chapel 3 times successfully.

Even though the Kathina Robes was so heavy, however, I as well as the congregations could walk around the Main Buddhist Chapel 3 times successfully.

After I said the Kathina Offering Speech, I was very happy because I got another good chance to accumulate the big merit.  In this year, I myself told my friends and others to make the Kathina merit with me.  My donations and other donors’ donations were total 371,321.50 Baht.  Sum of my Kathina Offering since 2009 – 2011 is 1,173,409.50 Baht.  When the ceremonies ended, I released thousands of small fish at Thaluangphol Temple as well.

Mama Ivy and I were very happy on this day.

My Remain Kathina Robe Offering in 2011 inspired Little Peach, a 4-year-old volunteer at Phasookvanich Youth Training Center in Ratchburi province, and she said that she wanted to be the ceremonial president of Kathina Robe Offering as well.  So she has booked to be the President of Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Thaluangphol Temple in 2012 and Phrakru Sathitdhammavat, the abbot of Thaluangphol temple, accepted happily.  Now Little Peach was practicing how to say the Kathina Robe Offering Speech.

Miss Watcharamon Saengthongphinit (Little Peach), 4 years old, “I have booked to be the president of Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Thaluangphol Temple in 2012 like Wai Pak On in this year.”

The next day, Sunday November 6th, 2011, I went to participate in Dhammachai Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Dhammakaya Temple.  I waked up in the morning to join the Morning Alms Round and meditated in the late morning.  In the afternoon, Mama Ivy and I invited the Saffron Robes together and in the evening I offered Pana Drinks to the monks at the Main Buddhist Chapel as well.

I participated in the Dhammachai Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Dhammakaya Temple on the next day, Sunday November 6th, 2011.

I would like to thank Luang Phaw that you gave all congregations and me another chance to make a big merit together.  If I did not get any your suggestion and was encouraged from all congregations, I would not have another good chance to make a big merit like this.

Mama Ivy and I share our Kathina merits, the International and Dhammachai Kathina Merits, to Luang Phaw and all of the Inner Dreams Kindergarten Students around the world.

I was happy in these merits and did not want to go back Hong Kong. I would like to live in Thailand, make merit and line up to welcome Luang Phaw with my friends in front of the office of the Inner Dreams Kindergarten.  I would like to be the president of remain Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony every year.  By the power of the International and Dhammachai Kathina Merits, I wish Luang Phaw to be healthy, happy and smart forever.

I love Luang Phaw most of the world

Wai Pak On from Hong Kong
