I pay the highest respect to Luang Phaw

I am Mrs. Phikhun Srichampa, 35 years old. I live in Pitsanulok province. I am a gardener who grows papaya trees.

Before going to Dhammakaya Temple, I was not happy because my husband always drank alcohol. When he drank, we could not talk and understand each other. We also had the financial problem many times because the income was less than the expense. My papaya trees yielded few fruits and were infected with the leaf mosaic virus. This kind of virus also causes the papaya tree undersize, not grow, or even die. So I was tired because of the papaya trees and the worker salary, the fertilizer cost, and the herbicide and pesticide costs. The trees yielded few fruits in each time, about 700 – 800 kg. Since the trees were infected, their fruits were too small and not good enough for sale. I had to leave them about a half of total papayas, about 400 kg, because the merchants did not buy them. We got only 10,000 Baht per harvest so my business was not well at all.

At that time, I was not happy with my husband, I also brought up my three children, and I was very worried about debts. But the problem that I did not know how to solve was the dry weather. It did not rain in 2010 which affected my infected papaya trees worse. The trees withered and faded. The fruits were too small, not red, and not sweet so that I had to leave them more. I was very serious and wanted to go away.

One day, I had glanced at the Yu Nai Boon magazine of Dhammakaya Temple, I picked up to read. I found that those who faced their problems, they took Dhamma and the teachings of the Great Masters as their refuges, and finally, their lives have been better. They would pray and meditate even more so that they could find the best solution. It interested me and made me believe and want to make merit with the temple. Later, at the beginning of January, 2011, I had a chance to make merit at the temple and listen to Luang Phaw’s sermon. When I arrived at my house, I tried the new way – while I was watering the papaya trees in the morning, I was chanting the Praise the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni as well. I did it faithfully and happily. I also made a wish with Luang Pu that “Luang Pu, please make the rain fall. The weather has been dry for a long time. Please make my papaya trees yield productive, good and beautiful fruits. Please help us to sell them easily and get a lot of money. I want to make merit, sir.”

I had done like this for only 2 days before it rained heavily for 2 day and rained continuously for a few weeks. It stunted me because I had no idea that my wishes would be come true soon like this. It cheered me up that Luang Pu encouraged and supported me certainly. Moreover, when my trees had got the rain, they became green and fresh and yielded fruits even more. Only about one month, the trees were better from the leaf mosaic virus. They were not infected anymore even though I did not do anything. The weed which always makes the harvesting difficult did not grow and automatically died without doing anything except making a wish with Luang Pu. I used to get less than 1,000 kg of papaya, but I got 2,500 kg of papaya at that time. In addition, I left them less than the previous time, left only one fourth of the total papayas. Therefore, I got 50,000 Baht per harvest, i.e. my new income was 5 times the previous one within about one month after I prayed and made a wish with Luang Pu.

Now my family is happier. My three sons obey me and are interested in meditation. I am so happy and have selected the best papayas, about 700 kg, for you.
