The Key Words of Buddhism คำสำคัญในพระพุทธศาสนา

These three words are the key words or important topics in Buddhism, let's start with "The Law of Karma".

The Law of Karma = กฎแห่งกรรม

Samsare= สังสารวัฏ

Nirvana = นิพพาน

Buddhism discusses the Low of Karma as the Law of Cause and Effect. ในพระพุทธศาสนากล่าวถึงกฎแห่งกรรมในฐานะของ Law of Cause and Effect กฎแห่งเหตุและผล

According to this law no one can salvage us from our "sins" nor can anyone pass his sins to others. จากกฎนี้ไม่มีผู้ใดเลยที่จะรอดพ้นจากบาปที่เราได้ทำไว้และไม่มีใครสามารถเอาบาปนี้ส่งให้ผู้อื่นได้เช่นกัน

Salvage =การรอดพ้นภัย, การกู้ภัย

Sin =บาป

An action, good or bad, produces a result. good actions produce good results and bad actions produce bad ones. A person is directly responsible for his or her own deeds. การกระทำทั้งดีและไม่ดี ก่อให้เกิดผลลัพธ์ทั้งสิ้น การกระทำดีก็ให้ผลที่ดีกลับมา และหากกระทำชั่วก็จะได้ผลชั่วกลับมา บุคคลต้องรับผิดชอบต่อผลแห่งการกระทำของพวกเขาโดยตรง

Responsible = มีความรับผิดชอบ

The second topic, "Samsara" or we can say this as "Cycle of Rebirths". Buddhists believe that their lives in this world represent merely on stage in an infinite series of births.

Samsara สังสารวัฏ เราสามารถพูดได้ว่า Cycle of Tebirths การเวียนว่ายตายเกิด การมีชีวิตอยู่ในโลกนี้เป็นการแสดงถึงชีวิตหนึ่งของการเกิดที่มีอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่องไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด

Rebirth = การเกิดใหม่

Represent = แสดง

Infinite = ไม่สิ้นสุด

The Law of Karma

Any person's present life has been preceded by countless other lives. When we die the process of rebirth would continue immediately. ชีวิตในชาติปัจจุบันของบุคคลนั้นได้มีชีวิตในอดีตชาติมากมายนับไม่ถ้วนเมื่อพวกเราได้เสียชีวิตลงไป กระบวนการในการเกิดใหม่ก็เกิดต่อเนื่องทันที

Precede = มีมาก่อน

Countless = นับไม่ถ้วน

This recurring pattern of events is known as samsara, a Sanskrit word meaning "Eternal Wandering." Samsara is governed by the Law of karma. รูปแบบขอเหตุการณ์วิงวนเช่นนี้รู้จักในนามว่า Samsara สังสารวัฏ ซึ่งความหมายในภาษาสังสฤษร คือ Eternal Wandering การเดินทางอย่างไร้จุดหมายอันไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด

A person who performs good deeds in this life will be reborn in a happy realm in the next life. A person who performs evil deeds in this life will be reborn in an unhappy rea;m in the next life. บุคคลผู้ทำความดีในชีวิตนี้เมื่อเกิดใหม่จะได้เกิดในดินแดนที่มีความสุขหรือ สุคติ ในโลกหน้า ผู้ที่ทำความชั่วในชาตินี้ เมื่อเกิดใหม่จะได้เกิดในดินแดนที่ไร้ซึ่งความสุข หรือ ทุคติ ในโลกหน้า

Realm = ดินแดน, อาณาจักร

Deed = กรรม, การกระทำ

Happy realms consist of heavens and human domain. Unhappy realms consist of hells, demon, monster and animal domains. สุคติภูมิ รวมถึง ภพสวรรค์ และมนุษย์ ทุคติภูมิ รวมถึง นรก เปรต อสูรกาย และสัตว์เครัจฉาน

Happy Realm = สุคติ

Unhappy Realm = ทุคติ

Hell = นรก

Demon = เปรต

Monster = อสูรกาย

The destination and quality of rebirth is based on the quality of deeds. The only way to end the rebirth cycle is for a person to tenaciously perform good deeds and build perfect virtues, which is "Perfection" until we reach Nirvana. จุดหมายปลายทางและคุณลักษณะของการเกิดใหม่ขึ้นมา ขึ้นอยู่กับลักษาณะของการกระทำ และสำหรับการหยุดการเวียนว่ายตายเกิด อธิบายได้ว่า ทางเดียวเท่านั้นจะหยุดการเวียนว่ายตายเกิด คือ การยืนหยัดทำแต่ความดี และสร้างความดีอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ ซึ่งก็คือ "การสร้างบารมี" จนกระทั่งเราขจัดกิเลสจนหมดสิ้น และเข้าถึงพระนิพพาน

Tenacious = ยืนหนัด, เหนียวแน่น

Defilement = กิเลส

Nirvana = นิพพาน

The Law of Karma

Nirvana or Nibbana in Pali is the state of ultimate happiness the happy condition of enlightenment the highest spiritual attainment. Nirvana ในภาษาบาลี "นิพพาน" เป็นขั้นสูงสุดของความสุขที่เกิดขึ้นเนื่องจาก การตรัสรู้ธรรม ซึ่งเป็นการเข้าถึงที่สูงสุดทางด้านจิตวิญญาณ

This is not the sense-based happiness of everyday life nor the concept of happiness as interpreted by Western culture. It is an enduring, transcendental happiness integra; to the calmness attained through enlightenment. สิ่งนี้ไม่ใช้ความสุขที่เกิดจากประสาทสัมผัสพื้นฐานทั่วไปในชีวิตประจำสวันและไม่ใช้ความสุขในความหมายของวัฒนธรรมตะวันตก มันยืนยงและเป็นความสุขอันเยี่ยมยอดสมบูรณ์แบบสงบสุขตลอดการตรัสรู้ธรรม

Endure = ยืนยง

Transcendental = ยอดเยี่ยม, เหนือธรรมชาติ

Integral = ครบถ้วน, สมบูรณ์

Once a person has attained Nirvana, they have reached the end of the cycle of rebirths the final and total release from cyclic existence never again to be subject to rebirth. เมื่อบุคคลได้เข้าถึงพระนิพพาน พวกเขาจะได้รับผลคือ พวกเขาได้เข้าถึงจุดสิ้นสุดของการเวียนว่ายตายเกิด เป็นที่สุด และทั้งหมดของการปลดปล่อยจากวัฏจักรของการดำรงอยู่ ไม่ต้องเกิดใหม่อีกต่อไป
