The Sunday Merit Activities at Dhammakaya Texas Temple
The Sunday Merit Activities and the Ceremony of Offering fund for medical care since Dhammachai Day.
In the morning of Sunday August 29th, 2010, Dhammakaya Texas Temple arranged the meditation. The congregations traveled to meditate, listened to Dhamma, and indefinitely offered alms to the monks together.
In the afternoon, the temple arranged the Picked-up Robes Offering Ceremony which Ms. Soodsanguan Srilanchanarak was the president of the ceremony because of her birth month. Then, they performed the ceremony of offering fund for medical care since Dhammachai Day and Ms. Prathumthip Boonkua was the representative to offer. This day was the special day of Dhammakaya Texas Temple and the temple opened the seminar for merit leaders. The seminar was about the 2010 Kathina Ceremony for the construction of the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong Centennial Building.
The master monks taught the benefits and fruits of this merit and the importance of this building. The congregations were interested and intended in the seminar. They offered and expressed themselves to make this merit happily.
