                         True Happiness and Inner Peace

peace

Meditation is aimed for peace and happiness. The real nature of meditation is the lesson learned by experience, by the feeling inside or by the inner self. It is neither by texts nor listening. All that the instructor can do is only to guide, to advice or to explain the technique.

Meditation cannot be achieved by force, cannot be achieved within a frame of time. The only rule is the mind staying comfortably at the centre of the body. The technique is to remind of it again and again.

Meditation is aimed for peace and happiness. It should softly glide along the track of relaxation both physical body and also mind. And all the time of practicing relaxing is needed and it is not needed to be still or not to move. Because a little move with a gentle deep breath can offer a brief relaxation.

Meditation needs the right posture while meditate. A lotus posture is needed, but in the limitation of physical or if not happy to be in that posture. The polite sitting posture is acceptable.

Please notice the hands. The right one should be on the left. The index finger of the right hand gently touches the tip of the thumb of the left.

This is the very basic understanding and preparation.

Meditation

Find a comfortable corner with easy ventilation, a comfortable armchair or a small mattress. The loose dress is also needed. Sit as you like in a lotus posture or on the chair.Take a gentle deep breath and softly close your eyes.

Stay still for a while. Tell yourself that you are the body of peacefulness. The whole you is soaked and flooded by the stream of peacefulness. Imagine the stream of peacefulness is pouring down to you from somewhere up high and relax.

Just confirm yourself that the mind or the inner self is inside. It is at the centre of the body. Then softly and gently remind of the point. Do it again and again alternatively with a brief relaxation.

Remember not to force to frame your thought, and let it be. Once for a second remind of the centre. Sit as you want to. Sit as you feel you are happy to.

Before openning up your eyes, take a deep breath again as softly and deeply as possible.  Then open your eyes and stay still for a while before drinking a cup of plain water.
