Ms. Shattikarn Chuenjalearn

I pay the highest respect to the Most Venerable Phrarajbhavanavisudh Luang Phaw Dhammajayo,

My name is Shattikarn Chuenjalearn. I am 28 years old. Currently, I am studying in my last semester in the English department of Ramkhamhaeng University. I used to work as a tour guide. I can speak 3 languages, which are Thai, Japanese, and Russian. Joining the IPP become an opportunity for me to help spread Luang Phaw’s dhamma teachings all over the world. This task is very great, but most normal civilians do not have a chance to do this. However, I am very proud of myself because I have a chance to help Luang Phaw. Furthermore, I’m determined to do and finish any jobs that I’m assigned to do. Today, I have some meditation experience to share with Luang Phaw.

Every time I meditate, I will keep my mind at the center of my body in every posture. I practice this everyday, so I’m able to get rid of any negative feelings and thinking very rapidly. This causes my mind to become clear and fill with happiness. I’m able to smile to everyone in any places with happiness. This helps my meditation results to improve, because I am able to find my center faster.

One day, I begin to keep my mind flowing from the 1st mind base toward the 2nd, the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th, the 6th and ending up at the 7th mind base. I also still my mind, without thinking of anything. Gradually, I’m at peace with myself. After a while, I’m able to see Luang Phaw appears in the center of my body (at the 7th mind base). Moreover, I also see a full moon. This causes  me to feel very light-weighted and extremely happy. Suddenly, I also feel as if I stop breathing, but I know I’m not dead yet because when I open my eyes, I still see Luang Phaw. The image makes me feel peaceful, still and soft.  Currently, I’m still seeing the  image of Luang Phaw even when I’m writing down my meditation experience.

Usually when I meditate, my mind will wander endlessly. And if my mind does not wander endlessly, I usually end up falling asleep while I’m meditating. However, when I have a chance to join the IPP Program, my love for meditation grew. On one night, I looked up the sky and I saw the bright round full moon. The moon was so beautiful that I took its image and put it at the center of my body. At that time, while I was meditating and relaxing my mind, I could only see the darkness as if the moon was covered by the black clouds. However, I continued to meditate with a clear and relaxed mind until the black clouds finally disappeared. Suddenly, the image of the rounded sun appeared at the center of my body, but its brightness was that of the moon. At that time, my mind was filled with happiness. After I came out of my meditation, I felt light-weighted as if I could float. As a result of this situation, I like to meditate even more and would like the people from the rest of the world to enjoy meditation like I do.

I am the proud to announce that I’m a part of the team at changing the world. I will use all my knowledge and talent to help Luang Phaw spread Buddhism teachings all over the world. I will become a part of helping the people all over the world to find true inner peace from within.
